SCRIPTURES: - We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, inspired, infallible Word of God and that it is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. We believe the King James Bible IS the Bible for the English Language - preserved by God, perfect and without error. I Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21
SOVEREIGN GOD: - God is a Person, eternally existing, as a Trinity in unity - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three persons yet one God. Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 26:19; Corinthians 8:6
SON OF GOD: - Jesus Christ, eternally existing, is the only begotten Son of God, who became a sinless man in order to redeem us. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died and rose again and sits today at the right hand of God making intercession for us. John 1:1-15; Romans 8:31-34, Philippians 2:5-8; Colossians 1:11
SALVATION: - Man was created in the image of God, but fell through sin, bringing not only physical death, but also spiritual death on an all men. It is only through the substitutionary death of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross that we can be made alive. It is through simple faith, not works or religion, that we can have eternal, abundant life. Romans 3:10-23, 5:8-10, 6:23; I Corinthians 5:14-21: Ephesians 2:8-10
SERVICE: - The local church is a group of believers baptized by immersion, united together for edification, exhortation, and evangelism as commanded by Christ in the Scriptures. The purpose of the church is to glorify God, prepare the saints for the work of the ministry, and to preach the Gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:19-20, Ephesians 1:6-14, 21-22; 4:11-16; I Timothy 3:15
SECOND COMING: - Jesus Christ Himself will soon come again in the air to catch up His Church and to judge and reward their service. The unbelievers that are left behind will go through a period called the Great Tribulation, after which Christ will return to the earth to set up His Kingdom of one thousand years of righteous rule. At the end of the Millennium, the unbelievers of all the ages will stand before the Great White Throne judgment and then be cast into the Lake of Fire, separated from God for eternity, while the believers will enter into an eternity of joy in Heaven with the Lord. Matthew 29:29-42; I Thessalonians 4:16-18; Revelation 19:11-20:13
